More Les Paul

I'll always remember the first time I played a real Gibson Les Paul. I was around 20 years old and I drove down to Fancy Music in Santa Barbara with Dev to check out some gear. We poked around for a while until we saw a beautiful brand new $4000 dark tobacco sunburst LP hanging on the wall. I don't know how we got the nerve to take it down and plug in, but we did. And shit man it was hot! Instant Slash, and we were plugged into a fuckin' Crate! I still dream about that guitar. Fuck.

Anyway, my Dad always likes to remind me that Les Paul was not just a name on headstock but a legendary guitar god as well. A/V evidence:
