Yes, there is a band called Bloodsimple. One of their songs made it onto that 2-disc Headbanger's Ball Disc that came out back in either '05 or '06. Must admit, as samplers go that one isn't half bad. Ripped what I wanted, gave it away to a good home but kept the free t-shirt!
